We are working with a forward thinking, progressive commercial insurance broker based in the Lichfield area. Candidates that have a good grounding already within the commercial sector across small to medium businesses, ideally two years plus are sought for this role and keen to progress their product knowledge and professional qualifications. In return you will be part of a busy, energetic team enjoying huge success with regards to their retention and new business drive.

You will be able to:
 
To deal with a book of business from GWP of £2.5k to £30k.
Prepare all new business documents and deal with Mid-term adjustments
Deal with all renewals and renewal reminders for serviced clients including:
Ensuring all dealt with in line with Serviced Accounts Renewal Timetable
Preparation of broking presentations to insurers
Liaising with claims team to ensure claims information is up to date
Preparation of renewal reports and new business documents and prepare uninsured areas questionnaire
You must have a general understanding of most commercial classed of insurance, especially Motor Fleet, Motor Trade, Property and Combined. You will be working towards CII qualifications or at least open to this.

Insurance Sales Executive

We are delighted to retain 2 new positions for Sales Executives as part of this brokers continued growth programme.
 
Following unprecedented year on year growth in excess of 30% they would like to reinvest into new staff and provide the opportunity for insurance and non-insurance sales personnel to have the opportunity to grow their own book of business and build a career. They specialise in commercial insurance's across the SME and Mid-corporate range. They pride themselves on delivering a bespoke, client focused service. Behind the client facing aspect they invest in a marketing company that provides warm leads, own a sale force cleansed database and have gained a super reputation that delivers referrals. 
 
You would be provided with a car allowance, IT equipment and phone. They are confident that you will be given warm leads from the beginning and can continue to fee these to you.  This is where you would come in and pick up on these in either a 'play and pass' role or to fully manage the book depending upon your level of insurance experience.  In addition they have a superb back office technical support that will place the business across the open market access they have.  The bonus scheme is very rewarding and provides an excellent structure to increase your base salary.
 
We seek candidates that are maybe already in insurance but looking to make that move into an external position with the backing and support of industry experts, or if you have a sales role our insurance and want to transfer your skill into a new sector they are also confident that they can assist you to succeed. You may already be an experienced executive and just wish to move to a new forward thinking business.  Here the business could accommodate you.  This position comes with a £400 per month car allowance.

Commercial Account Handler

Our client is a respected and progressive Independent Commercial Broking House that operates in offices in Birmingham.
 
Aspects Insurance Recruitment has been retained to assist in the appointment of a Commercial Account Handler to join its friendly and supportive team. You will provide a high level of support to 4 Account Executives, dealing with a range of mid-market accounts, typically generating premiums in excess of £10K, up to and sometimes exceeding £100K.
You will proactively manage a portfolio of accounts, being responsible for all renewals, mid-term amendments, and when necessary, assisting with the placement of new business. Using your market awareness and contacts, you will broke business with the most appropriate insurance companies to ensure that all clients’ risks are suitably covered. As one would expect, our client has a rigid compliance framework, and you will carry out all duties in a manner which obeys a variety of statutory and in-house regulations.
 
It is essential that you have experience within commercial insurance and a sound working knowledge of a range of products including Commercial Combined, Property, Liability and Commercial Motor. Progress made towards professional qualifications under the Chartered Insurance Institute, whilst not essential, would certainly add weight to your application. Acturis software experience desirable.  It is also imperative that you have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) in order to professionally liaise with clients, colleagues and Underwriters. You must also be a team player, who can demonstrate flexibility and a strong track record of working to shared goals and objectives.
 
In return, you will receive a generous basic salary (completely negotiable but anticipated to be in the £25K - £30K region) and benefits package, support towards professional qualifications and a personal development plan. For the career minded, it is entirely plausible that in the medium-term, you could move into a technical, managerial or sales role.

They specialise in commercial insurance's across complex Mid-corporate clients and pride themselves on delivering a bespoke, client focused service.
 
You would be provided with a car allowance, IT equipment and phone. You would initially have some business allocated to you and focus on the retention of these clients as well as looking to organically grow the book.  They have a lot of success within referrals and are confident that you would be provided with excellent support and market access to assist with the transition of securing the best deal for your clients.  They would be open to purchasing an existing book or part of, if this is a desired route in moving broker. 
 
We seek candidates that have a strong insurance background and confident to handle clients at mid-corporate level with the ability to work on a consultative basis. This position may ideally suit candidates seeking a more relaxed, customer centric environment.
